Raised in Frankfort, Kentucky, Douglas C. Howard graduated from Franklin County High School and received a B.A. degree in History from the University of Notre Dame.  From there, he earned his law degree from the Catholic University of America in Washington D.C.  While in D.C. he became enamored with politics working on Capital Hill and at the White House.  After Graduation, he returned to his hometown, where he began practicing law.  In 2006, Mr. Howard was elected to the Frankfort City Commission, where he served one term.  He has since opened his own law practice, The Howard Law Group, PLLC and routinely posts updates to Twitter helping teach other lawyers what they were not taught in law school about the business side of the practice of law.  The Legal Entrepreneur strives to make the business of running a practice easier for attorneys.

Mr. Howard is licensed to practice law in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio.  He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky and the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
