Lasheyl Stroud is a licensed Ohio Foreclosure Defense Attorney of seven years. In January 2011, she formed Stroud Law Offices, LLC. Stroud Law Offices, LLC services individual and business clients throughout Ohio in the areas of Foreclosure Defense, Domestic Relations, Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury, and Civil Litigation. Attorney Stroud has gained extensive legal experience as a Staff Attorney in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas, Associate Attorney at a Columbus firm and Assistant Attorney General of Ohio. She is also an Adjunct Professor at community colleges in Columbus. Attorney Stroud volunteers with the Sonshine Christian Academy Board (Chairperson), Project KEY Truancy Board, John Mercer Langston Bar Association, Columbus Bar Association, Save the Dream Project and New Covenant Believers’ Church. Attorney Stroud has strong work ethic and extensive experience in litigation, legal research and legal writing. She is passionate about the law and places an emphasis on excellence.
In 2000, Attorney Stroud received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kentucky State University. At KSU, she was twice elected Chief Justice and served as the legal advisor to the student government and chaired the university courts. In May 2003, Attorney Stroud received a Juris Doctor degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. While at Moritz, she participated on a Moot Court team that placed first in the Midwest and fifth in the country. In November 2003, Attorney Stroud was licensed to practice law in Ohio. She is married to Corey Stroud and they have a son.
